Why Facebook is Blue?


Have you ever wondered why Facebook is Blue? Why not yellow, green or red? Because only blue since 2004? The answer is not to be found in books about marketing, is something very trivial.
Apparently, it is true that blue is the color used by marketing and advertising campaigns. It 'sa color appreciated by the general public that creates a sense of trust and security (it is used a lot by the banks).
Since the first version of Facebook (called "The Facebook") the founder, Mark Zuckerberg used the color blue.

Facebook is blue because founder Mark Zuckerberg is colorblind and can not distinguish the colors red and green. The best color that can distinguish is blue so that when he had to choose the color to give Facebook its was an obvious choice.

Gud post. there is some thing mysterious about this "Blue" colour.Almost all the social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter,Myspace,google Buzz(Blue Shades) uses blue colour.I think its the colour of trust and security.may be there should be a psychological fact/reason behind this particular colour use in many websites nw a days....
